An eye-watering vision of utter completeness.

A MINT minus VINYL press, not styrene. Complete with with glossy info sleeve plus the seldom-seen introduction letter from the White House from Eugene J. Weiss director of the "Youth Opportunity Program" a democrat promotion October1965.

It does NOT get any better than this, in the quest for ownership of this Northern Soul floor-destroying anthem! With another Johnson family triumph from husband and wife team of Joy & Bob Johnston. preparation of Democrat promotion for awareness not to "Drop Out Of School" a message that appears with several Northern Soul Records but not as electrifying as Jimmy Fraser's potent "nothing spared" delivery, hitting the message home.

The "Do Not Drop Out" directive sleeve hardly ever turns up, occasionally a world-weary insert does but not the cover. To have everything complete, intact and immaculate really is a rare sight.

Powerhouse Northern Soul with the choice of a vocal side or the straight instrumental backing track. Both sides inflicting guaranteed dancefloor destruction from the every note. The rasping advisory vocal from Mr. Fraser, supported by an enthusiastic Harmonica accompaniment peppering that bludgeoning brass laden dance-beat.

"Of Dreams Hopes And Tombstones" is an instant club incendiary device, that sets your play-list alight, whether it be with the straight instrumental or with Jimmy Fraser's ear-blasting snarling vocal.

A fabulous and complete offering in its rare 1965 promo entirety. Raising up from an educational tool, that become a Northern Soul monster!
