A listing for those who believe the only second pressing allowed in the house is Olive Oil.

This auction arena not only allows us to offer standout records to discerning collectors on a budget. It also opens up an opportunity to point out the differences between first and second presses on records that are at present being misrepresented.

Before you today is the RARE FIRST PRESS with the large title text, set into a deep red label background. ORIGINAL FIRST PRESS.
Noting the release number is 539 (the same as the 2nd. press) but the master # just underneath, 6806191 is unbracketed. But on the wishy-washy red label repress with smaller title text, the same master # 6806191 is bracketed. A most distinctive differences and the presses are several years apart, as the Lanor catalog of 45's became reissued during the early 80's.

At the Lanor records all got slightly devalued during that reissuing exercise, we thought it time to point this out for those lucky enough to own the elusive original. and to warn potential Soul collectors the other copies you occasionally see are reissues.

After all this disc is one hell of a Northern Soul tune on BOTH sides. A double-sider giving up sublime Northern Soul no matter which side you drop the arm on. Treat yourself by clicking the impressive sound-file of this original 1968 version of a fantastic slab of Louisianan dance Soul. Then go Google and see just how darn how elusive this first press actually is.
