OK so in 2020 where exactly would you go to to find this 45 in flawless archive condition, still snuggled inside its original birth-sleeve, in your dreams perhaps?

The Who's finest R&B moment, with them ripping up the Rhythm and Blues rule book, when they reconstruct Otis Blackwell rumbling stomper, that Derek Martin recorded in New York for Juggy Murray's Sue Records operation circa 1963.The song their first for Brunswick was confirmation that The Who were indeed going to follow the path of "MOD" ; as their manager Peter Meaden thought from his first day, was the Who's easiest path to popularity. and what a fabulous job they did of it.

although initially "Daddy Rolling Stone" was supposed to be the a-side; it was Pete Townsend's and Roger Daltry's composition "Anyway Anyhow Anywhere" that came to the fore, again shimmering with R&B overtones. Both sides were well received by the MODS, instantly setting The Who on their way to their Seminole single "My Generation"

to discover a flawless copy of Brunswick 05935, 55 years after its birth, is a rare thing indeed. and one that serious MOD historians will want to own. After all singles by the Who have proved to be hard to track down in anything to "party'd" with condition..

Investment level condition, do not pass by.
