Description

Description

One of Lee Perry most elusive on this his British imprint for his plethora of work. A 1971 recording that passed most everybody by in remarkable stone-mint condition still housed in the white wavy top sleeve it was born in.

The forever experimental "Scratch" Perry pares back a jam-session to it's bones, creating a most unusual instrumental after a "shout" introduction mechanical keyboard pulses got to work on your brain. Perry's deliberately repetitive rhythms strangely go to work on hooking you into its simplistic charms. Underling yet again Lee Perry's boldness whilst following diversity and conflicting styles. and it woe=rks!

flip it over for a more conventional 1971 Reggae with an intelligent message from Little Roy's genius lyrics "We Are All Africans" not matter what colour you are. A thinking man's Rastafari-inspired message of love and unity, set into a background of throbbing infectious dance pulses.

Two great sides, both with a "message" with Capasetic" pointing out you can push the conventional Reggae boundaries. With Little Roy's " All Africans " capturing the very essence Rasta ideology.

Top condition mint minus throughout.
