For lovers of Beat Ballad Heaven, The Big City Sound or 60's Girl Groups, here is something very special indeed.

An unissued 10" New York acetate, a sample promo work from the prolific 40's & 50's writer/Producer Paul Weirick. Venturing into New York's "In" sound of the moment; GIrl Group harmony with a balls.

A big bold lush "Brill Building" production, benefitting from silky smooth harmony support, cradled by a magnificent full orchestra, that teases with stop/start interludes; effortlessly soaring into shivering crescendos. As the piano, synchronized plucking strings give oxygen to those burning vocals portray the finality of a love affair. It builds, builds and builds again until an explosion of defiance fills the air, as love is finally dismissed.

"I'm Gonna Wash My Hands Of You"

very reminiscent of those rare top-drawer Sister beaters like "Annabelle Fox" and other spine-tingling girl-group productions, that Teddy Randazzo had such a gift for creating.

This is the 60's big production New York girl group Northern Soul at it's very best!

and it's is as far as we know .. a ONE-OFF! with no clue to who the group or lead vocalist is..

Just how you exclusive-hungry DJ's like it..

Condition Report

Label is crisp clear, playing surface visually has light surface marks, but as you can hear it plays loud, clear and true. Grooves are crisp & clean I doubt this acetate has seen a stylus more than a few times in it's life. Light surface scuffing caused by storage and transporting around. A file copy that nobody seemed to have wanted to release.
