Description

Beyond RARE!

Only a handful of known copies, of this Rugby, Benn Hall favourite, endorsed by Phil Shields within his eagerly anticipated sets, where you could always expect to hear, the "unexpected".

Chic Mullineux also gives it his seal of approval, wedged into his "super sets" of the seriously rare at "Dark Horses", where we know Geordie lass Djdivadi is not shy of admitting she is head-over-heels in love with its uncustomary heavy-duty harmonica presence. Not a Stevie Wonder song, and definitely not him moonlighting on the session with is chosen instrument. Written by Charlie Boyd who I can tell you nothing about, only this looks like his only composition.

Crash, bang wallop Northern Soul, once heard never forgotten, a standout song in any set, even ones as bejeweled as Phil Shields or Chic Mullineux turntable choices, this is a tune you will surely take home in your head, remembering to add it to your "want list" in the morning.

Produced by Jim "Hobie" Stanton famed studio magician from Johnson City, Tennessee, who started up the "Champ" label giving many local musicians the chance to release a record. We doubt "Hobie" ever even met Stevie Wonder, let alone produced him.

Vocal group die-hards may enjoy listening to the off-the-wall jazz take on Hal Hibbler's "Unchained Melody"...
