A Glen Larson D.I.Y project from March 1961 has huge reputation as a very rare girl-teen recording.

Glen was a brief member of the Four Preps, but this 45 showcases his early talent as a writer/ producer before going in the TV industry, which he made a significant mark. Becoming famous TV producer / writer with such notables as “The Fall Guy” “Battlestar Galactica” “Magnum” “Nightrider” this man became a big mover and shaker in Television.

This seriously rare 45 showcases the beginnings of his glittering career, that would prove a springboard for Glen and his successful TV and film productions.

Uplifting Girl-Group Teen happiness, from Tammy and the Carolinas, who ever they may have been? Obscure girls that have proved near ”ungoogleable”

But interestingly on the flipside is the original rendition of “I Don’t Wanna Play In Your Yard” which the Vonnair Sisters hit with, the same year.

A historical 7” that is so very hard to acquire, appealing to not only Teen Collectors, Girl-group scholars, but to anyone with an interest in how people started their road to success...

Glen Larson dabbled in releasing D.I.Y. 45s .. didn’t you know?
