Not the haunting girl-group from New York, but a completely opposite musical experience from a talented 5 man Texas gathering, soaked on testosterone driven attitude.

Considered by collerctors as a USA 60's Garage classic. Before you today is an immaculate 1966 promo, no easy find in this flawless condition, still housed in its 54 year old birth-sleeve.

The top-side is written and produced by prolific in-house Nashville writer/producers Jay Turnbow, Larry Parks. Adding another to that endless list of the diversity in sound, Nashville publishers Acuff-Rose are noted for. As this is a far cry from The Newbeats "Bread And Butter" the pair crafted a couple of years earlier. No niceties here, this is a vengeful, belligerent outburst delivered by the snarling vocal from Lucky Ford, whilst Louie Holt & Gary Nunn's guitar thrashing accentuates the anger triggered by betrayal. Swirling organ, crashing drums forge an atmosphere of discontent as the five vex their fury.

A killer 1966 Garage masterpiece..

In the finest condition possible.. expect competition for this one.
