This week's elusive Sweet Soul showcasing comes from this seldom-seen Chicago street-level D.I.Y. project from Ricardo and team including The Scott Brothers associate Tommy Willis arranging the seamless flow.

Two truly blissful harmony gliders, current spins for a few highly-respected DJ's like Arthur and most of Sweden's groundbreakrers;

I can't decide which side absorbs me the most, as the lead-side is every note a compelling sweet soul masterpiece, a delicate dressing of intricate guitar plucking lays down the carpet to weave again one man's hurt with his friends gathering round to dull the pain, with subtle freewheeling symphony of support, for the brilliantly beseeching falsetto reaching out to your inner emotions.

the backup-side typically featuring the deep-rich solo vocal rap partitioning the discharge anguish his girl is causing, midway-rap was the height of Soul ballad fashion in the early 70's, The Si-Berians pulling it off smoothly, but not so smoothly that it loses that glorious edge from "The Street-corner", still filtering through that authentic neighborhood atmosphere. As the lead singer convinces us with real-hurt, as he recognizes his precious love affair is about to end. His pain is quite palpable, with his voice gently cracking at the most poignant moments.

This is top quality vocal-group harmony Soul journey into the Lowrider Heaven not once but twice over..

Elusive Chicago is superb condition.
