Real-deal sizzling-sister Detroit! a 1964 girl-group project involving some of the most creative street-level personnel, the Avenues the Motor City had to offer.

Both sides written from the inspiration garnered by Richard Brooks during his 4 years with "The Impressions".With the hard working arranger and label owner (Puff) Mr. T. J. Fowler adding his weight to the session. T. J. summons up a thwacking percussion intro, that collides headlong into honkin' horns. Carrrying this trio of debutantes, from one squealing peak to another. Hard-hitting high-octane classic style Northern Soul at it's persuasive.

"Try My Love" ? who could have ever refused...

This was the only 45 the three girls Brenda Knight, Merlene Druskell, Brenda Roland released for this aptly named MIchigan label. Before teaming up with Arenita Walker forming the Lollipops and coming under Barne Duke Browner's wing releasing some killer Motown-esque 45s under the "Duke's" guidance. For release on Impact and later Motown itself on the V.I.P. label.
