I just adore this tine, presented by an 8 man gathering from Seattle. written by a young hopeful called Paul Anderson. Pre-disco explosion this tune drifts subtly of a breeze of pour Soul leaving you wating another listen, because something about it is addictive.

The group's debut single, was such a naïve affair as they dipped their toes into releasing their very own 45. The band completely forgot the to give the release a label number, with little idea of how to promote it. This fabulous disc just fell through the cracks of the music world into instant obscurity. Today it is rarely heard or seen for sale. But we consider it as a sleeping giant...a snoozing jewel just waiting for the right DJ to present it.

A classy blend of Crossover Northern Soul with hints of it's more modern roots. The pleading lead vocal is cradled by a gathering of shrill girls as the quintet enrich proceedings with subtle horns and Jazzy/Funk guitar interludes.. this is real CLASS! Bravely ignoring all the disco influences flooding North America the end product leaves you crabbing for another listen. I'm on my 4th consecutive play and I'm loving it more and more on ever drop.

Perched and ready for Sunday chill exposure and beyond... after far to little exposure when first discovered for such Soulful quality...

Condition Report

Two clean labels a light biro tick on the official a-side for Radio Station direction, vinyl reveals light surface marks, causing an occasional light tick, but certainly nothing to dissuade ownership.
