Off the scale UNICORN-RARE Bay Area Deep Soul - how rare?

Well our barometer of rarity, comes from the ultimate source of Deep Soul documenting "Sir Shambling" when that unparalleled site hadn't yet documented its existent and obviously no "Discogs" file when this copy turn up on my desk, we knew we had a real Deep Soul treasure on our hands.

1964 as San Francisco based "Dimples" ventured out with his new label "Red Fire" this was the first record he write and produced for this eye-catching label. Noting this Sammy Williams bears no relation to the iconic Sam Williams on Tower. But a mysterious prodigy of Richard "Dimples" Fields from we believe, Oakland. An artist, we can find no more releases by, even though he possessed the most imploring soulful vocal, that Richard Fields decorates with a classic style Deep Soul arrangement. Gentle guitar picks are the under-current for a heavenly breeze of horns, as Sammy strolls through his despairing confidence-shattered life, anguished by his lack of family support and the absence of a girlfriend.

Sammy makes sure you feel his pain... standout as rare as it gets Californian Deep Soul

flip it over a typically Bay Area R&B Northern Soul shaker unfolds, this time Dimples Fields embellishes the session with a snaking flute and bluesy guitar pulses. Killer R&B the preserve of a few A-List New York DJ's and few few others.

Two excellent sides shimmering and validated |"rarest" possible status, all in perfect condition.
