I we love to present the unobvious "cult" tunes on these pages, with over 25,000 collectors viewing, judging and bidding in these pages before the auction ends, it gives us an opportunity of exposure across the globe something "different".

This 1971 British conceived, "Jazz MOD" groove, lifted from the soundtrack of Michael Cain's gangster blockbuster "Get Carter".

Addictively haunting, deliciously menacing Jazz bassline stroller with subtle characterises that just draw you into it's space. Producer Jack Fishman & writer Roy Budd open with a simplistic by highly effective double-bass plucking. Layer upon layer is gradually added until it envelopes attention as a crazed jazz keyboard lifts the session another level. With rhythmic bongos rattling away in the distance. This moody mid-tempo is again peppered with outrageous piano work before the finale, leaving you unable to not take another listen.

Quality and variety that's what you've come to expect from Manship's auctions. This narcotic session is so far off the wall, it would be a crime not spread the word beyond, those rather "Hip" DJ's and MOD club dancers already well acquainted into it's irresistible charms.

Condition Report

Fine clean unblemished Mint minus vinyl. White promo labels, a-side a very mild h2o mark (see image) b-side has a faint rubber-stamped number. A nice copy of this elusive 45.
