Description

Essentially an Arctic recording by the Dynodynamics team of Philadelpia, as this standout vocal-group undertake a Jimmy Bishop & Kenny Gamble collaboration and provide us with stunning Northern Soul. As did Barbara Mason, the next year with the fabulous "Bobby Is My Baby".

No matter who performs this song, the forceful backing track will whisk you off your feet; as a towering Mike Terry-esque Saxophone struts forward, decorated by those signature Arctic xylophone vibes ringing out in the back ground. A shrill gathering of girls chirp out sharp choruses and all is set for those rich harmonies of The Rotations deliver the simmering lyrics. As the low-blow Saxophone continues the gatecrash the session, with pepper "burps"; layer upon layer of musical expertise thickens the arrangement until there cannot possibly be another instrument, voice or sound effect to add to this overflowing delight.

This is saturated Northern Soul, that spoils us to death.. girls, sax, vibes and seamless group vocals... awesome.

"Bobby Is My Baby" is good, but is lapped several times over by this far rarer, far superior original first version of an other superior Dynodynamics creation.
