Description

Description

Rare 1973 UK Promo copy from this hybrid band who recorded for John Peel's label Dandelion Records as "Principal Edwards Magical Theatre" before disbanding after just two albums.

Principal members Richard Jones, Nick Pallett, Geoff Nicholls regrouped pulling in fresh blood; Shortening the band name (fabled to have been derived from an Exeter University employee). This is the new teams first 45 for Deram is a weird and truly wonderful slab of Folk/Psyche/Prog Rock under the guidance of Nick Tauber recently engaged in many fine Thin Lizzy early 70's sessions.

Nick mentors a rich array of vocals, superior Spanish guitar picking, a wealth of percussion, heavy drumming & tambourines, with Jethro Tull inspired tin-whistle interludes. It all works so very well. A classy crafting and a top-drawer example of early 70's Progressive Rock.

Flip is over another worthy fusion of Folk/Prog awaits
