Description

Description

Rockin' Thumpin R&B mover, conceived in the early summer in Miami, Flordia by Henry Stone and team.

Paul Tate's rasping cocktail of hard-punched piano keys, twanging blues guitar cut in two by a fearsome saxophone break; with Paul convincing vocal stealing the session.

Flipside is a persuasive street-blues ballad, a convincing plea for his girl to come back and stay.

Raw authentic powerful Blues which ever side you drop the arm on.

Seldom seen for sale, in the label variation or indeed such fine condition.

This is the much rarer 1955 Monarch press, with the straight bar design (see images)
