Soaring, inspirational 70's dance Soul, the rare version pelted with relentless bongo patterings, pumping horns, razored strings, squealing girl-group approval hovering aloft - BRILLIANT!

Produced by early 60's teen idol Troy Shondel in 1978, Troy after expanding his successful recording career that past in 1969. Troy started to become involved in arranging and producing. In search of success the Patterson Twins, Estus & Lester, chose a Motown flipside from 1974 to record; after a string of non-hits on various labels through the 70's. This choice-cut and their solitary Malaco 45 being by far their most-wanted 45s and for very good reason. "Gonna Find A True Love" is hailed by rare-soul academics as a timeless dancefloor classic that has constantly been frustratingly hard to acquire, thus no NS DJ overkill, always sounding fresh and uplifting..

Refresh your mind and feet with one of the finest rare-soul-dance tunes of that fruitful decade. As these Mississippi Twins inject momentarily "edgy" Funk into the Bottom & Co. original, before Troy sweeps the session off into pure-soul-dance territory. Swirling strings, stabbing horns, squealing girl choruses, lay down a heart-warming dance experience. The landscape benefitting from the twins Gospel schooled voices to elevate the session to yet another level.

A RARE AND TOP DANCE nice clean condition.
