Description

Description

Sam The Sham - "Little Red Riding Hood" inspired novelty Garage from Houston, Texas. Coming under the umbrella of Huey P. Meaux recording empire. Whether Murray Kellum was before Sam The Sham is unclear but the resemblance is striking, one thing is for sure is the "Long Tall Texan's" version is a 1000 times rarer.

All kinds of ghoulish effects litter the story of the ghostly encounter of the phantom seeking revenge.

This is one cool recording, enjoys something of a cult gathering, both sides benefit from heavy duty twangy southern guitar backing pulses, and a curled up top-lip vocal.

A disc that both sides compel you to more than one listen, addictive stuff, just like ""Little Red Riding Hood" a fun Garage tune you just can't put down.

"Addictive"
