Some consider (including me) "What's Going On" is the most important Soul album album ever woven into our life's back in 1971. Remaining there for over 50 years now, as a never ending compelling statement on the human race and the damning destruction it is inflicting upon itself in the name of capitalism... sadly even 1/2 a century later nothing has improved; even after Marvin Gaye's seminal social statement 50 years on and no less relevant.

Many reviewers far more articulate than I, have discussed this masterwork in depth.

All I know, is that this piece of music grabbed my heart in 1971 and has never let it go. Timeless, poignant and unforgettable.

Most every soul lover on planet will likely have a copy - but won't they won't have owned it as this Japanese QUADROPHONIC press with insert, everything in glorious unblemished condition.
