A way beyond RARE Philadelphia R&B shaker, the rarity thus far limiting plays to the European R&B scene featuring in some of the most respected play lists on that burgeoning scene "Fonsoul" "Christophe Imbert, Andrew Miller etc. Have all backed this damn hard 45 to find, helping it to sit at the top of so many wish lists.

Saxophonist Lynn Hope and his Orchestra front the rousing roar of the Mighty Fats Witherspoon with a muscular backing showcasing some wonderful exhibition moments of saxophone manipulation . Lynn opens proceedings with a pumping jump-blues intro, which is smashed aside by the gargling growl of Fats Witherspoon. Snarling Fats rips it up with his intrusive throaty delivery.

From the first note to the last this is a rapid journey through a juggernaut of R&B dance. Relentless, compelling and unforgiving... featuring a rickin' sax-break that elevates the session yet another notch, the squealing saxophone finale is just the perfect ending to this full throttle R&B shaker.

Do not snooze on this killer, it is the very first copy in memory, we have certainly never seen a finer example and we don't ever expect to see another in mInt minus condition!

The Jazzy blues flipside showcasing the accomplish saxophone "talking" gives you chance to recover from the breath-taking combative whirlwind witnessed on the a-side.
