Rarest Of The Rare Detroit vocal-group Northern Soul, Ronald Davis's D.I.Y. project from the streets of the Motor City is to be added to Davis's impressive list of Northern Soul contributions which include writing for Danny Woods, Gino Washington, Yvonne Vernee, Theresa Lindsey to name a few.

On this rarity instead of his usual Correc-tone, Sonbert or Jack Pot outlet he goes it alone, with his own label "Ron Paul" constructing two killer Northern Soul dancers of differing styles.

So rare, our first copy of only 3 we've ever had in stock came our way as an unknown in the very early 80's, we were very impressed with it, snapped up by a prominent NS DJ (forgotten who), but from those humble beginnings the reputation of "The Locations" has deservedly grown into "Rarest Of The Rare" cult status, as the ingredients for Northern Soul greatness are there in abundance, again severe rarer the only obstacle depriving the masses from hearing its instantly motivation qualities.

Today we are so pleased to be able to present it to a large audience, as the opening guitar invites you into a wonderfully rich make vocal-group harmony dancer. It's raw appeal straight from the streets, delightfully rough edges of the music, the perfect platform for the smoother voices to cut into, seamless they soar into each other's passion. Real-deal D.I.Y. Northern Soul shimmering with everything we adore about these "back-room" performances. Not only a great dancer, but also only the preserve of a very few DJs who have sought to own the rarest and the best!

Flip it over, not quite as instant as "Diamond Man ", but still drenched in authentic 60's Detroit emotion, as advisory male harmony intertwines as they tell her "He's Gone" forgot your past and stay by my side. Sound advise convincingly delivered by an accomplish team of extremely soulful hopefuls.

Two killer sides on one unicorn-rare 45!
