Chicago does Detroit - and how!

a fine clean PROMO copy still in birth-sleeve.

Giving up a double Andre Williams and Leroy Burgess modeling of the moody Four Tops 1964 album track from their first Motown album.

Andre captures the very essence of the original using a Jimmy's powerhouse vocal, to elevate this juggernaut of Northern Soul; constructed William "Mickey" Stevenson & Ivy Jo Hunter with Williams and Burgess doing it more than the justice it deserves.

Jimmy's atmospheric oriental vibe, perfectly complimenting those dirty horns, and enticing guitar picks. Moody and brilliantly all-consuming Northern Soul.

Although both sides written in 1964 Mercury held back releasing this 45 for 2 whole years. Even then the release passed everybody by, creating a rare 45 indeed.

Seldom if ever coming to market.

Condition Report

two clean promo labels, full gloss visually mint minus, some soft styrene fidelity loss, even though both sides look flawless (listen)
