Crazy About Crossover?

Here's 45 that just doesn't turn up for sale. A local Los Angeles project by radio DJ Tom Cross, who persuades Jimmy Preacher Ellis to momentarily park his "Blues" career; to co-write and record some crossover soul excellence, creating a mid-paced groove of mesmeric quality.

Jimmie's gravel coated baritone gliding through guitar and drum mid-tempo dance pulses, is a spine-tingling uplift. As he declares he'd be happy to be a man his girl wants him to be. He's sure with her love, he'll be recovered from the trauma of Vietnam, in the morning.

Life is gonna be sweet tomorrow.

Especially if you're able to secure this "ghost" of a 45 that past by his many Californian Blues fans and sold nothing at the time.
