Extremely rare Los Angeles Blues, "No Lovin, Woman Blues" was a 1956 recording for Specialty records pulled from the vaults and press as a 45 in August 1966. One of just two 45s J. R. M. Records gave life to in 1966 the other 45 being a 1956 California Blues session again from Specialty's vaults, by Sander King.

The iconic L.A. crooner Jessie Belvin on this 45, sounds nothing like his usual silky smooth velvety ballads he became heralded for. On this session Jessie brilliantly adjusts his usual satin-esque tones no match up to the raw wailing saxophone, to growl out his problems to his woman. Whilst a piano and a sympathetic guitar weave the weary backdrop decorating Jessie's moaning.

Flipside introduces a razor-edged Harmonica to invite another howling performance from Jessie. Searing Harmonica solo's cut through the relentlessly plonking piano keys, rolling out another bruising Blues experience.

Hard to find and never encountered at this level of perfection!
