A sweet soul cruiser, released as a 7" on an obscure New Jersey indie label, from which it became a "lowrider" "harmony-group" monster-want.

Before you today is the original and unique 10" studio acetate. Perfectionist please check out the soundfile there are one or two soft ticks and pops along the way. But not detracting the essence of this divine piece of street-level vocal-group harmony.

Written by group member Rosa and James (Hartnett) recorded and cut at the group's local recording studios, 236 Walnut Street, South Amboy, New Jersey likely this D.I.Y. project came to being in the very early seventies before Jim Harnbett upgraded the band's image by changing their name to fittingly represent the era and their style. Becoming "Hosanna" as the East Coast music became swamped in the "Disco" wave, Jim Hartnet's wonderfully cool dancer "Hippitt" was born, ticking all the boxes 70's displaying the same horns the group gave up on the insane flipside the Northern Soul stomping "Wildroote"

Now check out two totally contrasting recordings, with the silky brilliance of "O Lord " and the craziness of their studio-jam "Wildroote" as they honed their musicianship. A group guided and produced by the talented local truck driver Jim "Butch" Hartnett a Perth Amboy resident who assembled this group from local-talent.

Local, independent, sweet soul at its most convincing offered here as the unique 10" studio "quality control" acetate. With the bonus of a stomping instrumental ready to be unleashed from the flipside.
