Seriously obscure 1958 "Tittyswaying" Surf instrumental on this highly regarded "sausage dog" New York imprint, with a vocal group flipside.

Both sides will be of interest, we lead with is a strong instrumental stroller, featuring muscular guitar riffs riding muscular piano pulses, with a dirty saxophone blowing through from the back. Gradually Mr. Sax pushes his way to the front, taking the lead as the instrumental progresses. Subtle ramps up into rasping stabbing reed intrusions; the guitarist then showcases his craft aided by enthusiastic drumming the instrumental lifts up another notch.

A Surf walking with a pinch of attitude.

Flip it over for something completely different, the flipside is a R&B ballad led by a rich girl vocal, cradled by male vocal group harmony. again the guitar produces a worthy solo contribution, with her guys floating in at the end. One of the label's oddities, a seldom seen listing for this iconic label.
