Condition! Condition! Condition!

A listing for those optimistic NS 45 dedicates, who are still stalking, living in hope of those near Mint 60's classics that will eliminate the need for any future "upgrades". Here is the much-loved "Big City "Beast" of a Ballad" in a seldom seen near perfection condition, still housed in its birth-sleeve.

A true powerhouse of the "Beat Ballad Heaven" genre, benefiting from the now legendary Jack "Specs" Nitzsche arrangement, produced by Joe Saraceno a New Yorker equally as prolific as "Specs", written by Larry Mannering, Ollie Jones between them, they conjure up an eternally cherished Beat Ballad complimenting Gene's stunningly rich muscular vocal; a 45 only trumped by Jimmy Radcliffe's "Long After Tonight Is All Over" as the best known, most loved Northern Soul end-of-night appreciation sing-a-long. We know every word, and feel Gene's every emotional triumphant word, of this most inspiring moment with the mike.

Uplifting in the extreme, a cornerstone of the Northern Soul cult in a very elusive condition indeed.

A Big City Beat Ballad at its biggest!
