Description

Description

1966 instrumental cocktail of Hammond and guitar, a "Tittyshaker" that bridges the boundaries of Surf, MOD, Exotica on the word famous Minneapolis, Minnesota SOMA label that gave us so many great groups and music. Castaways - Liar Liar - always jumps to my mind; but you also have a plethora of standout tunes from Del Counts, The Underbeats, Gestures, The Trashmen etc. etc.

Soma was christen after Amos Heilicher, "Amos" spelled backwards, his brother Dan his partner. It was for several years the major force in Minnesota, whilst giving local bands a chance to be heard.

"The Gamins" as an instrumental band, are are mostly undocumented, we advise you don't do an investigative google for this rare record unless you want to be swamped with x-rated date sites and not so soft porn.

The gamins are obscure, and only released just this solitary 45 for Soma, which of course failed to register.

Click the sound now to unleash rattling drums, swirling organ antics and persuasive plectrum flicking. Some fabulous breaks in among the atmospheric whirlpool of sounds..

A Tittyshaker that ticks all the boxes.
