LABEL COLLECTORS ALERT!

This 45 is one of the reasons, we are expanding the weekly auction listings by 25%, allowing us you present seriously rare records out the Northern soul genre, but of great interest to serious 45 collectors who run the great labels. Trying to acquire whole series of the great labels, Okeh, Ric Tic, Mirwood, or the not so obvious Red Bird or Blue Cat.

Before you today is a beyond rare Blue Cat 45, No. BC 130 that moist of you will have never seen or heard before, for us it is the rarest Blue Cat 45 and the first time we have encountered it. Imagine its value if it were a stomping Northern Soul, or a blinding piece of Beat Ballad Heaven, I shudder to think.

But it is of great value to Red Bird / Blue Cat collectors as it is seriously elusive. It is the LAST 45 pressed before Blue Cat went into extinction, Blue Cat BC 129 by Didi Noel was presumed the last release until this relatively recent BC 130 discovery. Mike Stoller & Jerry Leiber's beautifully artistic label Red Bird & its brother Blue Cat with the iconic laidback Jazz-Cat as the logo, has fascinated collectors for decades. The captivating label design mixed with high quality music, makes the both labels essential "collect-all" series.

Before you today is a record missing from most Blue Cat discographies and even Blue Cat/Red Bird want lists we have seen over the years.

Eddie Jacobs is the same artist who one year later recorded on Chess Tired Of Being Lonely / Turn Me Loose with the same producer Dorian Burton. If you collect the "great" labels, you will be shackled to a lifetimes work, when 45's like this turn up, last record on this label, hardly know and widely undocumented.

Rarest Of The Rare "Blue Cat" a moody piano driven R&B shouter that doesn't fit into the Northern Soul genre, but will be capturing the interest of all and every Soul scholar worldwide.

We shall be expanding the auction to encompass record like this, that need to be seen, heard and documented.

The beauty of Blue Cat... I've always been transfixed by
