A glorious condition UK copy of this rare UK Blues album - joined by Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac just two releases after their now iconic debut album Blue Horizon 7-63200.

Seasoned Chicago bluesman Eddie Boyd wielding his gravel-coated vocal from his piano, with the luxury of Peter Green on Guitar, John McVie on bass, Mick Fleetwood on drums was a dream Brit / USA collaboration, blending R&B from two different perspectives, that Blues scholar, turned producer and record label owner Mike Vernon brought together so brilliantly.

To directly quote Mike Vernon's sleeve notes, he eloquently presents his case for this groundbreaking session to take place.
"Recording an American Blues artistic in this country (UK) presents many problems. Not only to the producer of the sessions but also to the artist himself and the musicians accompanying him on the date"

It all came together so brilliantly, and Vernon now had the weight of CBS distribution behind him. But this album didn't sell well and is now consideredd a rarity. Blue Horizon was still a young company, with a growing cult following, their early albums now being so very sought-after. Especially in this standout condition;

This listing has two flawless labels, hardly a hint a spindle introduction, full gloss unblemished mint minus vinyl, housed in originals poly-lined inner. Laminated cover is also in glorious mint minus condition (see images)

Act accordingly, this level of cherished condition is rare!
