Rare and thundering California R&B out of the "Bay" another dancefloor destroyer from a Jimmy McCracklin / Bob Geddins collaboration.

Bob Geddins was the street level driving force behind Blues, R&B and the beginnings of Soul in and around Oakland in the 50's and 60's working with local talent that became iconic stars of the Black Music scene across the USA. Lowell Fulson, Jimmy McCracklin, Johnny Fuller, Sugar Pie DeSanto and Etta James were his really successful students but Bob also worked with local hopefuls who got no further than the local Blues clubs and a couple of 45 releases.

Eddie Boyd went on to become a street Blues icon, this 45's is perhaps his rarest 60's creation. Both sides snarl, bite and growl their way into your heart, with "Come On" perched and ready to take the European R&B scene by the scruff of the neck and shake the audience headlong onto the dancefloor.

Distilled animalistic R&B POWER!

To acquire it in archive condition in 2021 is really more than remarkable!
