Ultra Rare Chicago Group Northern Soul from the guys who brought the Northern Soul scene "In Your Heart" comes blasting brass dancer decorated by slick male harmonies..

This 4 man gathering are one of the hidden gems in a treasure trove of Chicago vocal groups talents, inspired by The Dells, The Impressions etc. striving for vocal fulfillment; unfortunately Willie Weems, Nate Pendleton, Manuel Seal & Leroy Dandridge recorded far to few 45s for their accomplished harmonies; this one possibly never got past the PROMO stage.

Top side is a honking horn harmony Northern Soul dancer, sprinkled with gritty attitude fused with seamless delivery. That's why it is currently emerging as one of the UK's 45's to watch, as it is 100x's rare than "In Your Heart (You Know I'm Right)" already an established NS classic..

Flip it over to be rewarded by a slower delivery, that ripples with "The Impressions" influence. Every note as good as anything Curtis Mayfield's dream-team put together in Chicago's the Golden Year of 1965.. producer Calvin Carter even "lifted" Mayfield's haunting the muted "Gypsy" trumpets to pull together that haunting rapport only the best groups can mobilize.

"I'm Gonna Tell The World" is a masterpiece, that most likely for "pulled" from release for mimicking "The Impressions" just to darn well...

talk about "Lost Soul Gems", this shelved recording is a lost soul "Cullinan I"
