In the finest tradition of mid-sixties Jamaican Ska; Arthur "Duke" Reid guides the consummate skills of Don Drummond and his team through another spectacular "North African" inspired instrumental. Another killer session that transports you to the depths of Egypt and beyond. A barrage of horns jerk and twine their way towards, the legendary vision of Don Drummond modestly strolling forward, Trombone in hand as his magic mesmerizes his audience with his expertly executed manipulation of his instrument. Masterly he elevates this session several levels with seemingly effortless skill.

Here is a rare chance for the DJ to acquire not one but two brilliant tunes at an affordable price. As the 3 prong centre has been removed for easy DJ turntable placement; also noting that at a time in it's distant past it had a sticker over both labels to hide it's true identity. Who could blame the original owner for that act of self interest. Light label scaring has occurred but not affecting any text or logo. The vinyl is spectacularly clean. EX+ / Ex + revealing only the merest hairlines when angled in the light. Plays crisp and true.

For us Don's flipside trumps Justin Hinds fabulous group vocal chosen a-side "Mother Banner " Mother Banner " that features one of the greatest trumpet solo's ever committed to vinyl... listen to both sides, they are just superb examples of mid-sixties SKA. At it's most exhilarating...
