A label "to stop you in your tracks" presents rare Sheffield, Alabama snarling R&B Northern Soul in flawless condition.

Dead right for those venues employing DJ's who thrive on those "take no prisoners" rarities. Produced by the boss himself, this is a one off recording for the "Demo Brothers" Carter & Lewis is the only info I could glean from their undocumented past. But the pair bristle with Sam & Dave attitude and presence driven by those Muscle Shoals inspired horns and a Travis Wammack style guitar rhythm, determined to hold the whole thing together. As it feel like everyone in the studio wants to be noticed. An Harmonica bursts forth adding another level to this blistering session.

If you like your R&B, like it rare, uncompromising and on a label that is so collectable it hurts..

Let the "Demon Brother" ease your pain.

Condition Report

Flawless condition most likely previously unplayed until the impressive soundfile was lifted. Just a few fine sleeve contact hairlines revealed under strong light. Two perfect labels, that deserve a frame not a turntable. Can't you tell I'm in love with this this label.. oh so collectable
