Thumpin' 1966 5 man driven Euro Garage that manages to blend a harmonized Surf Sound with heavy driving Garage overtones. A record that has appeared on various Garage compilations through the decades on vinyl & compact disc. But here it is in it's most-desirable format, a neat clean British 45 still inside the birth sleeve.

Conceived, by the prolific British song writing duo Ken Howard & Alan Blaikley, assisted with the backing tracks constructed by Italians Antonio Amurri & Armando Tical. Who had also used them on "Equipe 84" recordings, another highly rated Italian mid-60's MOD/Beat band. The imaginative group naming borrowed from Anthony Burgess's 1962 book, who in turn created the memorable title, from an old cockney slang term "As queer as a Clockwork Orange".

Certainly the group naming "Clockwork Oranges" hit bullseye with the intended anti-establishment message, carried over into their music. Both sides may give up slick harmony, but it is still scented with attitude and superior guitar breaks and rhythms.

A legendary piece of beat/Garage/MOD from this gatherings only 45 release before quickly changing their name to "Pooh"
