Very elusive, rarely seen 1969 independent Reggae from the desk of the legendary "Joe's Record Centre" owner Joel Mansano.

Top side is a superb deconstruction of the Carole King & Jerry Goffin classic "Take Good Care Of My Baby". Whilst keeping the upbeat mood of the original and it's refreshing easy going feel, Mansano adds strong Reggae rhythms, Hammond organ pulses with the occasional steel drum whack for added effect.. and it works so very well.

The flipside is beautiful in its primitiveness, a wonderfully crude instrumental pelted with shouts and raps while a silky smooth trombonist winds his way through on a wave of Reggae background dance-rhythms. It's a trombone-triumph from start to finish, totally captivating, whilst painting a picture of an illegal London-Blues-Parties crowded smoke filled houses of joy.

Two strong sides, one very elusive 45, especially in this flawless condition, beautifully housed in birth-sleeve!
