You are viewing one very rare record indeed, on a small Memphis label, made ultra sought after by local artist 45's from Henry C and The Ivy Leaguers, Ike & The Nobles etc. All very rare, this example being by far the rarest of them all. We are personally aware of only two copies ever surfacing and this is one of those copies. Everyone missed it..

An addictive cocktail of Memphis influenced Soul/Garage kicks off with aggressive rattling drums, soon to be peppered by triumphant brass then further embellished with shrill girl choruses and a deliciously distant fuzz-guitar. This is so very different and so incredibly rare. It requires a DJ with an "ear" and a desire to push the boundaries.

We knew nothing whatsoever about Brian Stacy, but one of our vinyl-sleuths discovered Brian Stacy went on to record for Motown/Hitsville/Warnerr Brother as T. G. Sheppard from humble beginnings he became a best selling artist.

Other than this "vanity" label was used twice by Brian and writer/producers "The Fosters" to try and launch Brian's (T. G. Sheppard's ) career. They failed by not without giving it a damn good. They cut no corners in the invention and execution of this D.I.Y. dancer. Strong vocal cradled by haunting girl group support. The label didn't last long either, moving north from Memphis to small town Malden, Missouri to fade away without trace. but not before the participants left a trail of fabulous Soul & Garage treasures to be discovered much later on.

As rare as they come, crammed with of quirky inventiveness to catch your imagination!

Condition Report

Vinyl reveals some light surface mark, but none that affect play. A-side label has a small sticker removal scar and an inner circle nibble that doesn't offend the eye.
