Description

Description

Brenda's close relationship with fellow Californian Frank Wilson produced some of this Motown songbird's finest works.

This June 1969 UK promo marries two of Frank & Brenda's collaborations together, with EMI grasping at the final attempt to cash in on Brenda's impending contract closure, with a 45 release attempting to regenerate and promote the disappointing response to her UK / Australia only album release "The Artistry Of" with two tracks back to back from that now iconic LP.

Unfortunately the single TMG 700 did no better in sales, not visibly aiding "The Artistry Of" either.

Today TMG 700 is elusive on both promo and the regular stock release. This copy is in mint minus condition, superbly unblemished. Offering up Brenda's least overplayed Northern Soul dancer, with "Just Look What You've Done", with her and her sister composition "You've Made Me So Very Happy " becoming a "rock" standard to so many artists and a live performance staple to so many singers, featuring with versions; made it seem sung at sometime by most everybody.

Unblemished, under-exposed Northern Soul and the first version a classic joined in one gorgeous green and white promo, which was to be Brenda's last TMG 45.
