Billy Prophet has the power to transport you to a place in time...

A superlative Northern Soul anthem, that imprisoned those on the dancefloors of Wigan Casino, Cleethorpes Pier & The Blackpool Mecca during the early to mid-70s, those ringing vibes, carrying Billy's rich vocal amounted to Sidney Barnes & Jerome Louis Jackson crowning Northern Soul creation, only arguably equaled by the majestic "I Hurt On The Other Side". Two defining Northern Soul 45s.

A real-deal Northern Soul classic that ignites those nights of wonderment at any of the above listed places. Euphoric recall will wash over you the moment you hit the "play" button. So damn good not an iota of magic has fade over the decades.

Listen and relive the golden days of our youth...

but do not overlook the flipside "Sad Sam" another strong NS dancer that has received some enthusiastic spins from the more adventurous DJ's over the decades.

Condition Report

a fine discreet no. 46 a very faint red tinge to the white on the a-side label, flipside label is totally clean (see images). otherwise two clean promo labels, vinyl carries strong gloss, revealing only feeble soft surface hairlines under light, as you can hear, the fidelity is superb, loud crisp and clean, both sides
