You choice today with this "impossible" 45 is Sweet or Funk?

Rare Records are what get me out of bed in the morning...There is no bigger thrill for the vinyl addict than to encounter label-art, a great artist and a seldom seen 45. It sets the pulse racing every time..

This is from my experience is one of the rarest 45's in this Joe Stevenson's Philadelphia imprint. A label where every 45 released has something to offer the collector, as well as the "Shrine" level-challenge of completing the 13 release run.

Bernie "Ever Again" Williams on the a-side gives up an utterly dazzling mid-tempo Soulful stroller with full female vocal-group harmony chorus, enriched by haunting-horns. A distilled slab of Philly Soul that creeps under your skin, leaving you with the need to listen again and again... as Bernie's ease of delivery and those celestial ladies pulls you in.

The flip is a different animal altogether!
A horn pumping slab of RARE FUNK!! Bernie finds attitude, the horns leave all subtlety behind, as they attack the air. Wah-Wah guitar teases in the background, blaring brass repeated blast out .. a fgine mid-tempo 1967 Funker that is so damn hard to acquire..

Condition Report

Two bright clean labels, vinyl has only the mild light surface brushes, plays loud, clean and true. Both sides have some very mild static on the run in,
