Description

Description

A beyond rare, authentic original first press, a record that offer not one but two fabulous slabs of Northern Soul. A 45 we have not offered for sale in over a decade.

Top side is a cultured Carolinas influenced brass saturated Northern Soul dancer of the highest order. Bernard's pleading vocal style, becomes more and more convincingly desperate; as he tries to understand why his girl wants to leave him. Honking horns lift the tune yet another level. Punctuating his pain with powerful blasts affirmation, driving this dancer from one high point to another. TOP TUNE!!

Remembering the early 2000's Norfolk, Virginia reissue came with an instrumental flipside. Omitting the killer and rarest version of the highly popular "39-21-46" a massive dancefloor favourite by The Showmen and Jimmy Jones ast this moment. So if you like to stand out from the crowd, no many DJ's own the "Bernard Smith & Jokers Wild" version.

Two great tunes of one elusive 45, a Northern Soul double-edged sword of real quality. With the possibility for the DJ to play a version of a massive current play, the few others could rival, sitting on the flipside.
