Get some twangy Sister R&B into your life, with this killer version of the Joy Johnston song ably covered by Susan Rewis, Rodge Martin, Mojos, a great song given even more attitude Texas gal Becky Sharpe.

All the A-list R&B DJ's have been solidly behind this belter for over as decade, but it has proved mighty hard to find, you will only find it on a few selected DJ play lists. Whilst most DJ's have had to settle for much commoner versions, e.g. Sue Rewis was of course the "Stafford Top Of The World" cover/up "Denita James and the Wildsides" secret for Guy Hennigan, but that particular 45 has never been a hard 45 to acquire; but this local Fort Worth label is a totally different story, the few releases for this label, are all extremely elusive and all are hard edged belters.. consistent killer tunes.

Shimmering with inquiring young girl doubt and worry, wrapped into an attractively crude Hammond driven arrangement, glistening with young Go-Go girl choruses. Split wide open by a fabulous saxophone intrusion. So raw, so cutting, not only a 100 times rarer than any other version, the rawness of youth lifts it above all the others. That's why high-calibre DJ's like Bill Kealy, Jon Clay and Matt Sneath have been solidly parading this hard-hitting local small label version, dripping with Texas temperament for so time now, with scarcity preventing more Jocks joining the "Becky" fan club.

Tough to find and in sublime condition.
