Description

We have no idea why, but a 2020 reissue of this record, barely a month old is listed at $100 US.

Here is the insanely rare 1973 UK release in previously unplayed condition, still house in birth sleeve, make vof it what you will, but this 45 is certainly in-demand and of-the-scale rare!

This American actor turned prolific record producer Steve Rowland was behind this 1973 flop. A record that sold virtually NOTHING. He can be consoled by later discovering The Cure & The Thompson Twins and prior to this non-starter he produced Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick & Tich claiming a string of hits.. but his career was interspersed with some unknown artists who crafted some exceptional non-hits... So much so, many collectors now scour for the name Steve Rowland on 45's by unfamiliar bands.. as many of them are now so very collectable. For instance Theresa Brewer' - School Days - which Steve Rowland transformed into an unlikely FUNK dancer...with the obscure Barry Rolfe he again injects some real attitude into the session. Power Pop, Glam with spunk making it an under-the-radar "secret" want for those who dig deeper than the most. Keeping quiet about the silent upward graph of value.

Today this 45 has a strong underground appreciation, is considered a "lost" British Heavy Rock gem; eventually receiving wider recognition, when in 2012 the German LP "Bonehead Crunchers vol. 3" featured this little known 45 as one of it's prime track listings.

A session benefiting from Punkish angst and impassioned guitar playing; enriched by a chanting chorus and a screaming lead vocal ending on a very impressive guitar solo finale. Watch and see the value over the coming years fly...

To actually locate the 45 in this level of perfectness is a great find indeed.. for those of you seeking obscure gems, and those of you who insist on acquiring your records in unsurpassed condition, this disc ticks both boxes.
