Ted Taylor - You Gave Me Nothing To Go On - Okeh

Condition: Ex+ Hl/cr/nap

killer Chicago R&B from a man who knows exactly how to serve it up!

The screaming vocal style is the perfect marriage for Carl Davis’s powerhouse production… the 45 is second only to the very in-demand “Somebody’s Always Trying” but to me it sounds the perfect replacement!

Tight hairline crack not affecting play.. click the soundfile and stand back Ted is about to take-off!

Kirk Taylor - Got To Have Somebody C/w It's So Hard - Salem

THIS IS A TUNE!

A beautifully constructed soulful stroller backed by a full harmony group. This rare 45 sits between dreamy atmospheric vocal-group soul and BEAT BALLAD HEAVEN! The flip is certainly a very Deep Soul experience - two pure sides of quality!

this copy has some light surface marks but plays well.

Today’s price for such quality and rarity is the bargain of the year so far!

B. J. Thomas - Chains Of Love - Hickory

Condition: Excellent + Swl

THE ORIGINAL VERSION of the Chuck Jackson Northern Soul anthem!

If it’s stomping style, take a listen to the impressive soundfile for an all out driving Northern Soul you like. Try the original version of Chuck Jackson’s classic dancer. B.J.’s handling of the song is fantastic, with a whole ton of brass backing it up. Great version we think, and NOT easy to find.

This copy, unlike the copy on the website has small writing n label just over the H in Hickory! Today price for such a minuscule flaw is a giveaway! as the vinyl is Excellent +

Fantastic Four - Can't Stop Lokinng For My Baby - Ric Tic

Condition: Very Good + Wl

We sold a copy of this 45 in Ex+ condition very recently for the regular £150 you expect to get on a record of this quality.

In fact Ric Tic’s most elusive 45 for this group and by far the most-wanted. This copy the vinyl and label have some very light surface marks but it plays a loud clean & clear. One of the rarest and finest of all the legendary Ric Tic 45s.

This copy is untidy, label fade, writing on label & light marks on the vinyl - but DJ’s note it plays beautifully. A perfect bargain buy that you can play out without any concerns.

Price is WAY WAY BETTER than 1/2 price!

Tamiko - Don't Laugh If I Cry At Your Party - Atco Promo

Condition: Very Good +

Tamiko Jones with and Sidney Barnes and George Kerr composition write especially for Motown and Jobete music.

Motown chose not to use it but Tamiko did a fine take on the 1963 session to provide the Popcorn & the Northern Soul scene with a great dancefloor tune.

This copy has some fine light surface marks but plays clean and true.

Today this copy could be yours for way less than 1/2 price.

Tommy Tate - I'm Taking On Pain C/w Are You From Heaven - Okeh Promo

Condition: Mint - S/hl/cr/nap

My biggest disappoint this week, a MINT - copy of this gargantuan NS mid-paced tsunami of Northern Soul from Jackson, Mississippi ready to get listen @ £150.

And then we noticed a tight, hairline fracture. So tight you can only see it at the right angle and the right light.

This pressure hairline in undetectable on the stylus, and nearly invisible on the eye. But it’s there, no hiding the fact - so today very reluctantly it’s going out at better than 1/2 price!

WHATTUNE!
